  1. The well in Tristia is known as St. Patrick's Well. A stone beside the well marks the place where St. Patrick said mass the stone itself being used as an alter.
The last Sunday of July and the fifteenth of August are two great days for performing 'rounds'. Hardly one week passes by that some pilgrims do not visit it.
The rounds are performed barefooted. They go round the well fourteen times, praying the while. Flowers are then placed on the altar. The invalids then go to the well and wash the infected part in the well. If bubbles are seen in the water the cure or whatever the request may be, will be granted.
